509 Returns with Winter Activities

Ah, the eternal question of what to do with the little ones when the cold sets in and the parks close up for the season! As a mother of two young sons who seem to descend into madness when forced to spend an entire day stuck in the house, I have been on the hunt for places to take the boys each day. My criteria is threefold: it must be a place where they can move around, it must be reasonably priced or preferably free, and finally I must be able to manage both of them in the environment without loosing my mind. So with these criteria in mind, here is my first suggestion of places we frequent each winter.

Mobius Kids Children's Museum

Mobius is currently at the top of my list for places where the boys can run around, explore and tire themselves out. It isn't an expansive children's museum on par with those of larger cities for instance, however the small size suits me perfectly since it allows for a slightly relaxed environment where I can keep an eye on the kids without feeling like I've just run a marathon. The only drawback is paying for garage parking which after living here for two years I continue to complain about.
